Born in Sofia (1953), Grisha Kubratov graduated in Painting at the Veliko Tarnovo University “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” (1977). He has held solo exhibitions (1985, 2008, 2011, 2025) and participated in numerous group forums: “March Music Days” International Festival – Ruse, National Competition “Allianz Bulgaria for Painting, Sculpture, and Graphics,” International Biennale “The Art of Miniature” – Ruse (2007–2025), Biennale of Small Forms – Pleven, and “Friends of the Sea” – Burgas. He has also exhibited internationally in Montclair (New Jersey), Manhattan (New York), and Prague.

The current exhibition presents works with a musical theme. Kubratov’s paintings and drawings combine modern artistic techniques with profound philosophical reflections on time and space. Bright, pure colors enclosed in symbolist forms transform the space into a magical, silent world.
